The Power of Educator Simulation

National presentation on using simulation-based learning to build real-world leadership skills.

I had the opportunity to present nationally alongside a student, sharing how I integrate simulation-based experiences into my classes here at UT Tyler to develop students' leadership skills. Through these virtual simulations, students engage in real-world scenarios that require critical thinking, collaboration, and decision-making in dynamic environments. Our presentation highlighted the impact of these experiences in building confidence and preparing students to lead effectively beyond the classroom, while also offering practical insights for educators looking to bring more immersive, experiential learning into their own teaching.
